Tourism AI Growth Workshop

Build your AI teammates.
Make more time for your visitors.

Two practical online half-days to organise your business knowledge, improve how visitors find and book you, and build your first AI teammate.

Answering visitor enquiries, preparing group quotations, organising bookings and keeping information up to date all take time. For a small tourism team, much of that work comes back to the owner or manager.

We will show you how to build AI support around the information and systems your business already uses. Follow one tourism business through a connected visitor journey, then apply the steps to your own operation.

  • Planned format: two live online half-days of three hours
  • Tuesday 12 & Wednesday 13 January 2027
  • 2pm to 5pm (Irish time) each day
  • €279 introductory price when booked by 30 November (standard €399)

Who it's for

Give your tourism team more capacity

For owners, managers and team leaders in small tourism businesses, particularly those with around 10 employees or fewer, including seasonal teams.

Guesthouses and small accommodation providers, tours, attractions, cultural experiences, outdoor activities, food experiences and visitor transport.

  • The same visitor questions arrive through different channels.
  • Group enquiries and quotations take time to prepare.
  • Information is spread across documents, inboxes and people's heads.
  • Seasonal colleagues need reliable answers quickly.
  • Quieter dates need attention while the busy season takes over.
  • You want to spend more time looking after visitors.

We work through these challenges using one connected business example before you apply the steps to your own business.

Research

Move from trying AI to putting it to work

The Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment's sectoral study identifies opportunities in visibility, booking administration, demand planning, customer insight and connected information.

Read the tourism findings

Source: Accenture for the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, A Sectoral Study on AI in Enterprise in Ireland, October 2026.

13 of 87

tourism respondents describing their AI experience reported a formal pilot, embedded workflow or scaled model.

19 of 40

micro tourism respondents relied mainly on paper, spreadsheets or local files for operational data.

These figures describe the study's consultation respondents, rather than adoption rates across the whole tourism sector.

The approach

Build on the knowledge your business already has

Your Tourism Business Brain is an organised set of information your team has checked. It gives your people and AI teammates a reliable starting point.

  • Products and experiences
  • Current prices and valid dates
  • Opening times
  • Directions and transport
  • Booking links
  • Cancellation terms
  • FAQs
  • Accessibility facts
  • Approved local recommendations
  • Your tone of voice

Each record has a source, an owner and a review date. Live availability comes from the current booking system or a person who checks it.

Teammate, agent or workforce?

A software helper with one clear job, approved information and a person checking its work.

Start from where you are

Paper or disconnected files? Begin with one clean product record and a teammate that prepares drafts.

More connected systems? Explore capabilities already in your existing tools and scope appropriate integrations.

Your AI team

Meet the teammates you could build

During the workshop, you build and test one first teammate and map where other roles could support your business.

A useful first build for many small operators

Enquiries and Booking

Understand a visitor request, identify missing details and prepare a reply or quotation.

Your team checks availability, final prices, terms and exceptions.

Visibility and Content

Find gaps in business information and draft accurate FAQs, product descriptions and quieter-season content.

Your team verifies facts, local stories and claims before publication.

Guest Experience

Prepare helpful pre-arrival messages, draft translations and suggest verified local options.

Your team handles individual needs, complaints and personal recommendations.

Reviews and Growth

Group feedback into themes, draft review responses and suggest service improvements or relevant offers.

Your team chooses the changes and approves public replies.

Operations and Capacity

Summarise bookings, identify capacity gaps and prepare a weekly management briefing.

Your team validates totals and decides staffing, pricing and operational arrangements.

Illustrative scenario

See how the work connects around one visitor

An overseas visitor enquires about an October group experience. The AI teammate identifies the request, checks approved product information, flags missing details and drafts a response. A person confirms availability and any access requirements. The visitor uses the existing booking process. Staff review the pre-arrival message, and feedback later informs service improvements.
